Yesterday evening I spotted 59,5 m Jamaica Bay returning from her sea trials. I spotted her before entering the Kiel canal on her way back to her yard Nobiskrug in Rendsburg.

Not only is it a big refit poject, but Nobiskrug has no experience at all in classic restorations. Indeed, it surprised me from the very beginning that Nobiskrug was entrusted with the refit of Nahlin.

Sure - she's an old lady (difficult) and Nobiskrug is busy at this moment.

Is it my feeling or this refit is really slow?

We can imagine she was on the way to the Blohm & Voss yard in Hamburg...

The hull 778 is now officially Siren. She's moored to a pier next to the yard.

A great line, the yacht of the year 2008, as I guess she will be considered as a part of the next year of manufacture. The helipad is also a good idea. And the main deck seems to have an high volume (like Samar).
Who could expect a better yacht to promote this yard!

Thank you Carl. It's also interesting to focus on her stern, and this circular area, which is certainly the "removable" helipad. Removable, because the helipad can be doubled up to free the stern...

Yes, and the yacht is sailing to the Baltic for sea trials.
