By Yachtspotter.

In spite of a traditional Trinity's line, Katharine is characterized by a very neat realization. Externally, finishing is perfect. The shipyard offers forms more harmonious than the 150 feet series. Very traditional decoration suffers from a too great sophistication. However, note the presence of a splendid spiral staircase serving the three decks. Installation is very conventional.

The lower deck is composed of technical rooms (aft), four guests staterooms (to the center), and crew quarters (forwards).

The main lounge, the dining room, the galley as well as the owner's suite are on the main deck.

The upper deck is composed mainly of a very large lounge with a bar. Forwards there is the captain's stateroom followed by the pilothouse.

Finally, two tenders (aft), a bar, a solarium (to the center) and a Jacuzzi offering a panoramic view are on the sundeck.

The first owner was an experienced sailor. He had conceived Katharine very intelligently. One of the guest?s staterooms has the same liveable volume as the owner?s suite. It occupies the full beam of the yacht. Thus, in the event of a strong sea, the owner can withdrawn himself there, so as to not undergo the boat?s movements.
