By Yachtspotter.

Every Carinthia has been an outstanding yacht. Carinthia VI will forever remain a mythical boat thanks to her signature, avant-garde design by Jon Bannenberg. Thirty years later, Carinthia VII (previously known under the project name Fabergé) resembles to her on several points. Firstly her designer, Tim Heywood, is a disciple of Bannenberg. Some lines, her glazing, her navy blue hull and its gold edging remain present. On the other hand her proportions are completely different.

Her owner as always is Mrs Heidi Horten and as for each one of her yachts, considerable secrecy reigns around their construction and their installation. Nevertheless much can be we will try to discovered by observing the various external details. Of course, it's only conjecture...

Given the size of Carinthia VII, it is possible that she has a double bottom. Generally this one would contains a part of the crew quarters and storage sections.

The lower deck accommodates two large garages with tenders which open on both sides of the hull (aft). The engine room must be positioned to the center and the remainder certainly contains the other bulkpart of the crew quarters (the yacht is only for private use so the staterooms number is likely to be fewer). Also note that the aft deck contains a telescopic footbridge, very impressive in length (and not easily handy, as we could observe it).

The first deck should contain a small lounge and dining room (aft) followed by the majority of guests staterooms.

The second deck must accommodate various lounges and doubtless the owners suite (forward). Note the presence of a helipad to the prow of the yacht. A small removable guard rail delimits the landing area.

The third deck seems strange. Of course it accommodates the pilothouse and certainly the captain?s stateroom. But what does the remainder contain ? There are practically no portholes (like on the other decks below ; so we could imagine the place of a central staircase and/or lift). A deep part opens to the back. We can imagine the presence of a bar to complement the solarium...

A large central staircase allows access to reach the sundeck. This last accommodates Jacuzzis and the remainder seems to be only a great large solarium being able to be used for parties also.
