Posted by Luc | 04/29/2007 @ 14:00 | Reply Yes, you can consider Meteor to be a sister ship of Borkumriff IV. In fact she is an exact replica of her, they just made some modifications inside. Check out this link : http://www.schoonermeteor.com |

Meteor is launched. A very similar layout to Borkumriff IV. The only thing that looked odd are the 4 domes on the mast, otherwise the yacht looked beautiful. |

The yacht will be built with eco-efficiency in mind and will feature for instance diode lighting, which reduces heat emissions, which in turn will reduce the size of the airconditioning plant. |

Posted by Merijn | 03/07/2006 @ 19:10 | Reply Arcadia was launched from the Royal Huisman Shipyard on Wednesday 1 March 2006. After her launch the yacht departed to the fishing village Urk from where she would do ?lake? trials on the Ijsselmeer. The trial took place last Saturday. I think she is right now still in Urk (or maybe Lelystad), but I hope she will soon leave for Amsterdam from where she will (probably) do sea trials. |
