The local newspaper "Stavanger Aftenblad" (and other news agencies) reports today that Palmer Johnson has bought a yard in Flekkefjord (south western Norway) to start producing yachts up to 80mtrs. The yard has been building supply-ships, big trawlers and vessels for scientific research, but is now bankrupt. It has appox. 140 employees.

The newspaper says that the owner's reason for buying a Norwegian yard was the good reputation, and that it is difficult to find yards that is not fully occupied for a long time. The report also says that the production of the first of two new yachts with a brand new design will start this autumn : http://www.aftenbladet.no/...

I believe this is Hull #3 or Hull #4 of the Palmer Johnson PJ150 series called Four Jacks spotted on 14 May 2008. Seen here : http://www.shipspotting.com/...

The PJ120 Vanquish is for sale through Gaspard Yachts. The reason ? A new Vanquish is under construction. She is a future blue PJ150. Read in the last BI.

I like the PJ150s. I have noticed an other modification. There is a mast for the domes now. The domes were on the arch for O'Khalila. Some good ideas from the designers !

Hot news : the second PJ 150, Hokulani, rumored to have been launched in November has been delivered. She was spotted in Florida and has a slight modification of the radar mast seen on O'Khalila. Hokulani radars are located on the hard top over the sundeck : http://www.boatnerd.com/...

This is the former Finish Line that was sold this year.
I expect the third 123 has now been completed as it was due in October. No name yet.

A new name on a PJ123 has recently appeared. This name is Temptation. Is it a new name for Finish Line or Muse? Or is it a new hull of the series? The third hull was under completion at the yard... Thanks to Bob for his picture.

I confirm the name O'Khalila. The yacht is in Spain.

This is the first PJ150, good pictures, few people spotted her since her launch. I think that you're right about her name. I'm not sure about the "O'", but I confirm for "Khalila". The PJ120 Khalila was proposed for sale during the last Cannes Boat Show. And during this meeting, somebody confirmed me that a successor was under construction. Same golden hull color also.

I am not positive but I think this is the PJ150 O'Khalila loading onto to Dockwise. I can't quite read her stern name in Photo 4 : http://travel.webshots.com/...

Palmer Johnson has or will shortly be launching a 136' sport boat/motor yacht named Dragon for a European family and the yacht will be going to the Med on Dockwise for the summer and then to charter in the Carribean next winter.

Palmer Johnson PJ150 arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia late December 4 or early December 5 and tied up at pier 23 in the commercial port area. She was encrusted in snow and ice when seen this morning, due to a major snow storm over night. Her starboard bridge wing was partially retracted.

The next series is on way, the PJ135. This model is an evolution of the PJ120. Larger, longer, and a good new design for the sundeck and the radar mast. For the differences, five staterooms, a Jacuzzi on the foredeck, and a walk-around deck. The first two hulls are already sold. The first one will be delivered in 2007.

A question about the PJ123. A model of this series is proposed for sale by brokers. Her name is Finish Line. Is it a third PJ123 after Alter Ego and Muse? Or is it the Alter Ego under another name? I thought that there are just two PJ123 for the moment...

Another PJ123 was launched this year. The yacht was recently spotted in Newport, RI. Her name is Muse. It seems that she will be in Med for the Monaco Yacht Show...

Funny to see that all the PJ120 were spotted at the same moment in the World :
- Birgitta is in Los Angeles, USA
- Stanley is Golfe Juan, France
- Khalila is in Venice, Italy
- Vanquish is in Nice, France
- Hush is in Golfe Juan, France

Yes Hush was recently delivered. She's the fifth PJ120. According to an article, her hull color is "silver metallic with black and burgundy accents".

Does anyone know anything about a new palmer Johnson PJ128? Being delivered to the Med soonish called Hush, she has been built for an Australian owner. Apparently she looks similar to Khalila.
