From my appartement in Kiel, Germany I just took a pic of a new Heesen 3700 casco passing by on the barge Lechia, heading into the Kiel canal possibly coming from Poland.

...and Man of Steel, which is more interesting because if I'm correct she is a new series/type yacht for Heesen.

Some news of Heesen, two major projects were recently launched :
- Man Of Steel, hull 13750, 50m : http://www.shipspotting.com/...
- Celestial Hope, hull 14247, 47m : http://www.shipspotting.com/...

Celestial Hope is a sister of Elandess and Sirocco. A dedicated website is available online, with no information for the moment, excepting that she was launched in mid October, and her delivery should be for mid December... (www.mycelestialhope.com)

Note also a new version for the Heesen website. I didn't take care to it. Still the same URL...

Hot news : a new Heesen is launched. The yacht was spotted in Hellevoetsluis, The Netherlands. We can imagine that she's under sea trials. Her name is Mon Plaisir ("my pleasure" in French). Her hull number is 13547. She has a length of 47 metres, and we can imagine that she's from the same series than Yalla and Let It Be. Last detail known for the moment, she has a dark hull.

I came across a Heesen 3700, named Ilona, is she an addition for the owners of the Amels Ilona? Here's a link to the photo : http://www.shipspotting.com/...

The Morgan Star was sold because the owner died. I do not remember what the name is now.

Tropic C was sold a first time and renamed Mylin II. And she was sold again and renamed Morgan Star. I think that she's still known under that name. She used to be based in Florida...

Does anyone know where the Diaship/Heesen Tropic C is today?

First picture of Galactica. It was getting dark, so the quality of the pic isn't really good. Will try to get better pictures during the weekend.

Did you see the last advertisement of Heesen Yachts? It features a scale model of the future Man of Steel. Her yard number is 13750. The yacht of 50 meters will be the successor of the current Man of Steel (3700 series). She has an innovative design (large foredeck on bridge deck, two hot tubs, trawler-styled wheelhouse...), her profile is available on : http://www.heesenshipyards.nl/...

It seems that the 50 metres Galactica was launched on January 9. Her sea trials are scheduled for the beginning of March, and she will be delivered few weeks after.

Sedation II, the first hull of the 4400 series, will be launched in April.
In April also, the 8th hull of the 3700 series should be delivered.

Thank you Jelger, this is the first picture of this new Heesen. We can imagine that Let It Be is the hull 13147, sister ship of Yalla, and successor of the Heesen 3700 also named Let It Be.

It seems to be a Heesen day in Athens! Yesterday afternoon Sweet Doll, Kijo and Sirocco arrived at the same time in Marina Zeas. Later that day also Duke Town arrived at Zeas and Bilmar is lying at Alimos Marina as usual.
