Vega Yachts have updated their website with some information on various projects from 70 to 120 metres : http://www.vegayachts.com. The company is not a yard in itself, but more of a sales and build-management organization. Currently, they have teamed up with the Shimizu shipyards to build the yachts.

Vega Yachts is the new project of Richard Hein (formerly of Oceanco) and the idea is to build the yachts in Japan. I think they have an 85 metre yacht underway as well. There was a news item in Boat International about it a few months ago.

Can anyone tell me more about a project called "V1150" from the Monaco based company Vega yachts? Does anyone have a picture? Some details : 115 m, launch 2009, design through Richard Hein and Alberto Pinto. There is just a vid without any drawings, but it is nice : http://www.vegayachts.com/...
