The M/Y Devotion (ex Marjorie Morningstar, ex Shalimar) just completed refit at Stabbert Yacht and Ship after having a fire at another repair yard. Attached are before and after photos of the exterior and interior. The refit included a totally new interior and the rebuild of every major system including electrical lighting, plumbing, new sub structures, rebuild of the main engines and new generators and the addition of zero speed stabilizers. You will also notice the new paint job including a midnight blue hull. Overall a huge refit completed in only 8 months.

That is correct, she just had a major machinery overhaul. The mains were rebuilt from the ground up, zero speed stabilizers and a bulbous bow were installed. There were also a few minor interior upgrades performed. Soon the vessel will depart Seattle heading south to California and then overseas. Her new purpose is expedition yachting and treasure hunting.

Marjorie Morningstar was recently pulled out of Delta Marine's yard and moved to Stabbert Yacht and Ship. She is being renamed the Devotion by the new owners and having a total refit done on here. New interior, upgraded to MCA compliant, new generator sets, and hull repainted to midnight blue. She actually just began the refit about 3 weeks ago, she is scheduled for completing in Mid April.

She will have 6 staterooms for 12 guests. 1 owner cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 1 convertible cabin queen to double, and 3 queens. The main deck will have new hardwoods installed throughout and cherry wood interior furnishings and cabinetry installed, basically new everything. Zero speed stabilizers are going to be installed as well new energy and pollution efficient generators.
