Attached a recent photo of Platinum on launch day in Jan 2008. She is expected to commence sea trials in about 6 to 7 weeks. Designer and Naval Architect is Alan Muir, Tasmania. Fit-out design and construction by Traditional Timber Interiors in conjunction with Mackeddie Marine. | Posted by Jacques | 02/20/2008 @ 18:00 | Reply The website : http://www.platinumcharters.com.au | Posted by Yachtspotter | 02/20/2008 @ 13:00 | Reply Indeed, Platinum has some (more and less) common points with Slipstream. Is she also designed by Dubois Naval Architects? You can see some pictures on this website : http://www.tradtimbers.com.au/... | Posted by Jacques | 02/20/2008 @ 12:30 | Reply The Australian shipyard Mackeddie Marine launched a new 37 meters yacht. Her name is Platinum. Few is known for the moment. She could be a smaller version of the Warren Yachts Slipstream. More info on BYM : http://www.bymnews.com/... |
