At the Simpson Bay Bridge (entry to lagoon and marinas) there is a small restaurant and bar with a viewing deck that affords it's customers a front place view of yachts entering and exiting the lagoon. The name of the restaurant is Sint Maarten Yach Club, and it has parking for motor vehicles.

The width (55 ft) and depth of the water (20') restrict some of the very large vessels from entering the lagoon. However, you will see many of the worlds super yachts passing through the bridge openings (Limitless, Excellence III, April Fool, etc.). The bridge opens daily at : 0900, 1100 & 1630. It is a perfect spot for photography.
