He was driving his Enzo Ferrari when it lost control, hit a tree, literally split in two and caught fire. He suffered serious burns, and was transferred by helicopter to a hospital in Marseilles. The passenger was also burned. |

Today at 15.45 the yacht Ice entered the harbour of Nice. There was a small ceremony when she docked. |

Posted by Kalmeran | 01/31/2006 @ 11:30 | Reply In your "old" version of this site, you had these magnificent aeral views of Air/Ice. Can you inform me where to find these again? Many Ice-lovers would appreciate that! |
Posted by Yachtspotter | 01/24/2006 @ 20:55 | Reply Note that the 43m Amtec named Ice was recently sold. I don't have any confirmation if there is a link between these two yachts. The last time she was spotted, she was in the shipyards of Genoa, Italy. |

Since the same chopper was present under her previous owner (said to be Italian I understand) I expect that Bicker is just a contract Pilot/Helicopter Supplier who is
contracted to supply the chopper for the yacht. |

The layout seems most unusual and while the interior is not to my taste it is something different for sure. What is also interesting is that the Eurocopter on deck carries the registration ZK-HLH. This is a New Zealand aircraft rego and the actual owner is listed as John Bicker (from the NZ CAA site - public record). One wonders what the NZ connection is with the Russian owner? |
