I've find the entire show "La vie incroyable du Prince Waleed" on the eMule network.

Refering to the French mag Le Point, Lürssen has been chosen to study the building of the "successor".

Incidentally, Jonathan Beckett was the broker who sold Nabila (now Kingdom 5KR) to Donald Trump.

There was also a third man to this meeting, the project manager. The Prince introduced him, Jonathan Beckett, from Nigel Burgess.

Indeed Alex! I was also watching it. Very interesting document, from the Show "Zone Interdite" on the French channel M6. Its first prime was on September 4 2005, and I didn't entirely see it at that time. It was a pleasure to see it again!

What a document for a yacht enthusiast, to see the profile of the successor of Kingdom 5KR, presented by Andrew Winch to the Prince. She looks beautiful, with a length of 171 metres, at least 7 levels, an impressive atrium, an unique chimney to do fire on the top aft deck...

In the document, they said that the yard wasn't chosen, but it was filmed nearly one year ago, so we can imagine that the decision is made now.

And we have the confirmation of the future homeport of the giant, the IYCA...

Today there was a documentary on French television following the owner of Kingdom 5KR.

At one point there was a meeting with Andrew Winch who designs his new yacht. The length of 171m was mentioned and a profile was shown. The yacht looked modern, very sleek without many sharp angles. Some concept sketches were shown of the interior and these were marked by an atrium of at least 4 stories with a circular base, topped by a marble stair which crossed the atrium and leads to the owners suite (at least level 5-6). Another striking interior sketch showed an enormous two story library, at which the owner insisted to use a different filling as books.

As far as I understood it, at the time of the interview they were in discussion with naval yards and construction had not yet commenced.
