Betty is a creation of Royal Denship. As much as identify her shipyard, her lines remind us the mid twentieth century yachts. Her proportions however adopt the current specifications of the new megayachts : a high and voluminous hull, composite materials, and high technology equipment... The end result of this mixture is a yacht with an elegant profile, but which is too bulky seen from the back. Nevertheless this creation has the merit to diversify from current productions.
Installation is conventional. The lower deck accommodates three guests staterooms (aft), the engine room (to the center) and the crew quarters (forwards). The main lounge, the dining room (aft), the galley, the pilothouse (to the center), and the owner's suite (forwards) are on the main deck. Finally the sundeck accommodates a solarium, a bar, the two tenders, a Jacuzzi and a helm station behind the pilothouse (see photos). It is regrettable that the footbridge doesn't retractable into hull. Nevertheless note that the retractable bathing platform overlaps itself marvellously well with in the rounded shapes of the hull. |
